Hey , everyone . I am a  survivor who left the island in the spring of 1742.  We left St. Petersburg with almost 600 people.  We spent 7 years to cross Siberia. First we stayed at Tobolsk for one year. We built a ship and explored the Lena  River. Then  we continued  to Yakutsk, where we spent 4 years. At last ,we spent two more years to build ships so we can explore and map the east coast.  There are a lot of storms during the expedition , so we lost many  food . And  after a heavy storm, we lost contact with Chirikov's  ship. But we are lucky enough, our sailors saw  mountains a short distance   across the sea.  This proved that North America and Asia were two separate continents.  After soon, we ate   water with a little salty. Then , many of my friends were from scurvy ,a disease caused by the lack of vitamin C.  What's more , our ship  became lost in storms. Finally the ship stranded in a small island.  There are birds and animals for food, and fresh water to drink. But ,it's too late ,my friends continued  to die from scurvy. On December 8 ,1741, our leader Bering also died . It's  so  terrible .
